Maxine Dibert ran for Alaska House of Representatives representing Fairbanks District 31 in 2022.
Maxine is Koyukon Athabascan, so it was important that we brought elements of her heritage to her brand. We incorporated a system of shapes formed into a pattern representing the asymmetrical and rhythmic nature of the dentilian shell, commonly seen in Athabaskan beadwork. The sans serif font is approachable and contemporary suggesting Maxine’s strength in working in both western and traditional systems.
